Eligibility Criteria For IGNOU BA Admission

To pursue the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme candidates simply need to pass their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board. There is no age limit required for pursuing this programme. Students from any stream background (Arts,Science, Commerce) can apply for IGNOU BA programme. However the university does not fix any minimum or maximum marks criteria, but it is required to obtain at least 45% to 50% aggregate marks. Students can seek admission to the BA programme directly, IGNOU doesn’t require candidates to appear in any entrance exam.  

IGNOU BA Admission Fee Structure

Indira Gandhi National Open University is a government open university that provides various BA programmes in a very affordable fee range. BA programme at IGNOU generally ranges between INR 13,200 to INR 15,000 for the entire duration. BA fee per year is generally around INR 4,400 to INR 5,000. Students who are pursuing B.A Psychology courses with Practicum components need to pay an extra fee of INR 600 each in the 1st and 2nd year. Additionally, the university charges a development fee of INR 200, an application fee of INR 300 and an examination fee of INR 200.

• Step 4: Click on the course title and download the study materials in PDF format. 

IGNOU BA Result 

Students can check their Term-End Examination (TEE) results from the university’s official portal. The result shows the marks and grades obtained in assignments, term-end examination and practicals for each course. 

• Go to the official result portal of the IGNOU.
• Enter your 9-digit enrollment number.
• Enter your programme name.
• Click on the submit tab.
• Now you are able to see the result. Print the result or download it in a PDF format.
