However the M.Phil programme has been discontinued at IGNOU as per the NEP 2020 (National Education Policy of 2020) guidelines. Fee range of the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programme at Indira Gandhi National University ranges between INR 12,000 to INR 13,000.
IGNOU takes entrance exams for this programme so the entrance exam application fee is INR 1,000 which is non- refundable. Registration fee of this university range is INR 300, payable during the registration process.
The university also requires candidates to pay an examination fee of INR 200 per theory/ per practical and a development fee of INR 200.
